![]() 12 volt converter installed to power AM/FM CD player, or it can be wired up to run a cell phone charger. Some interior knobs need replacement, the headlight switch, door button. Tires have been on the car since I bought it, so they at least 10 yrs old. The car presents nicely, runs well at highway speeds(within reason its 81 yrs old), and stops and steers easily given its size and weight. I would not however, recommend driving it in 95 degree NYC bumper to bumper traffic(ask me how I know!). If it was it would never leave the garage! That being said, I have driven it many times to NYC 72 miles round trip and would not hesitate to do it again. It is NOT a show car, Not a trailer Queen, Not a museum piece. Jersey Boys movie(2013),Cafe Society movie(Woody Allen,Steve Carell)2016,Indignation movie(Logan Lerman)2016,Wonder Wheel movie(Woody Allen,Kate Winslet)2017, I Got The Keys music video (Jay Z, DJ Khaled)2016, The Marvelous Mrs Maisel Amazon Prime Video seasons 1 and 2 (2017/2018) Motherless Brooklyn movie(Ed Norton)2019, The Plot Against America HBO series(John Turturro, Winona Ryder)2020.See photos for details The Good the Bad and the Ugly: This is an 81 year old unrestored car. Including the following:Mildred Pierce 2010 HBO series(Kate Winslet). Temp gauge/oil pressure gauge/Amp gauge all work, gas gauge is intermittent.Clock is not hooked up(never tried) In the ten years I have owned the car it has been used many times as a background vehicle in many TV/Movies/Videos. What works Original starter button under gas pedal, orig hand throttle control.Speedometer/odometer/horn/wipers/lights all work. Over the course of my ownership I also installed rebuilt starter, new voltage regulator, rebuilt generator, replaced exhaust system, and regular oil changes with zinc additive.Drained and refilled transmission gear oil, drained and refilled differential gear oil. I installed custom made radiator, electric pusher fan, and auxiliary electric fuel pump. Correct wiring harness was installed by previous owner. Transmission shifts well (first year of column shift),clutch engages smoothly. Mechanical:Engine runs excellent,no smoke or funny noises. Orig trunk material is still there,as is the spare tire cover and hold down bracket. There are no rips or tears anywhere on the seats and the headliner is also very nice. There are some water stains on the panels and the seat frames, with the typical "shoe" damage to the lower part of the drivers door, still not bad. Interior: interior is original, with only the front floor mat replaced with a repro by previous owner. Exterior chrome is OK-just driver quality. Rubber around front vent windows is dried out. Windows all roll up and down (or slide) easily, and there is some delaminatio, mostly in the front vent (wing ) windows. This is a low mileage (33,496 at time of listing) survivor that has its original paint,(95% plus by my estimation),original interior, original drive train, etc.I have owned this car for over 10 years, and its time to thin the herd,so here goes: Exterior: orig paint has plenty of "patina" -touched up rock chips(esp drivers front fender),cracks, some rub through spots, thin on top of headlights, etc see photos but still has a decent shine for its age.
